Looking for a fun, creative activity for your children this half term? Let their imagination shine in a hands-on glass fusion workshop where they’ll design and create a colourful piece of art. 🎨
During the session, they can make a sun catcher or a small framed picture (frame included) using a wonderful selection of glass shapes, frit and stringers – you’ll all learn what those are on the day! (If you want to join in as well, just add an extra place for yourself !)
All glass has been pre-cut and pre-fused, so there are no sharp edges, making it safe and easy for children to handle while still giving them lots of exciting pieces to design with. Everyone will arrange and glue their chosen glass pieces onto a prepared base, creating a unique design to be finished in the kiln. If additional items are made, an additional charge of £5 per item.
Once the workshop ends, the creations will be carefully taken back to the kiln at my home studio in Stubbington and fired at 750°C for over 24 hours, transforming their design into a beautiful finished piece ready to collect later. 🔥
What’s included:
-
1–1.5 hour guided workshop
-
All glass materials, tools and safety glasses provided
-
Choice of sun catcher, coaster, or framed picture

A unique handmade piece to treasure
