Glass flowers to cheer up your garden year round!

I purchase powder coated metal garden stakes that I adapt to hold glass flowers.

During this 3 hour workshop you will learn the basics of glass cutting & trimming, you’ll then decide on the design of your flower and using a template you will cut & trim glass to create & decorate 4 or 6 petals for your flower, you will then set this down in the kiln and add some frit (you’ll find out what this is on the day😊).

This will be fired in the kiln for approximately 24 hours, when cool enough your ‘flat’ fused flower will then be placed back into the kiln in a ceramic mould and refired to ‘slump’ into the shape of mould.

Once your flower has been slumped to shape, I then secure it to the garden stake and it is ready for you to collect, turnaround time approximately 7 days.
