An Introduction to Warm Glass
up to 1.5 hours ‘have a go’ workshop is a great way to discover the exciting world of glass fusion.
Join me at Westbury Manor, West Street, Fareham and have a go ! Have a choice of making a sun catcher, coaster or tea light holder.
What’s included:
Your taster session includes all the glass needed to make a standard sun catcher, coaster or tea light holder.
If you’d like to make additional pieces these can be arranged at cost price for the extra glass and kiln time. This will be clearly explained on the day, and costs are always kept as low as possible.
There is no glass cutting involved in this workshop, I bring along a large variety of pre-cut pieces of glass for you to get creative with.
You’ll glue your design in place to enable me to get them home (avoiding as many pot holes as possible !!), they’ll be fired in my kiln and ready for collection from my home studio in Stubbington a week later.

Attending a Glass Fusion workshop
- All attendees MUST wear closed shoes or may be refused entry.
- We provide other protective items for hands and faces where needed.
- If you exhibit signs of impaired judgement or coordination that we believe poses a risk to you or other attendees, you may be refused entry or be asked to leave early.
- If you are on medication, or have a medical condition that may impact your attendance, including conditions that may be triggered by light, sound, smell or small spaces, you should advise us in advance, and we can confirm if the course would be of risk to you or others, or make accommodation to ensure your experience is positive.
- If you are attending a course where prior experience is indicated as being a requirement, and you demonstrate a lack of experience, then we may ask you to leave if it poses a risk to you or others.
- Where attendance is refused or early departure is insisted, this will be treated as a cancellation and no refunds, credits or transfers will be offered, except at our discretion.
- We work with glass and sharp instruments at our workshops Any attendee who demonstrates that they may pose a risk to themselves or to others will be asked to leave the workshop.
